Tips:
- Take a series of shots
- Move your subject out of their comfort zone
- Hold your camera on an angle
Environmental Portrait:
I chose this photo because I like how you can see what this man does for a living, and due to his face it looks like he enjoys it. There is also some movement with the knives which really drew in my eye.
Self Portrait:
I chose this photo because I thought it looked cool and you only look at the subject and what the subject is doing.
Casual Portrait:
I chose this photo because it looked interesting and stood out from the other casual photos.
Plan:
I am planning on doing portraits of my close friends. I would take them down to Clayton Elementary School and take photos of them messing around, being their usual self. With my friends I could also get a shot of them walking on the side of the road in a line, but have only one of them be the focus point.
I would perfect this by:
- Getting good lighting (Going out when sun is out)
- Making sure exposure is set good
- Making sure that the photo will turn out the way I want
- Paying attention to composition rules
- Take my time
- And make it fun so the photos turn out interesting
