Self Portrait vs Selfie
Part One: Self Portrait vs Selfie
Selfies and self portraits are becoming more and more similar as time goes on, but their are ways to tell the two apart. The two may overlap from time to time, but the majority of the time they are the same. A selfie is normally a photo taken of the photographer, by the photographer, with less though going on where the context is taken seriously, making the photo have only one story. A self portrait is normally a form of art, photo or not, where the creator is the subject and where the photo has a deeper meaning, for it can be interpreted in different ways telling multiple stories.
I personally find self portraits more interesting and entertaining. I love the idea that one photo, or piece, can tell you about the life of the person frozen in time in front of you. Self portraits have more time spent to perfect and have so much thought that gets put into them that it makes me appreciate the art more than a selfie, which is usually used to show what you're doing.
Self portraits are more valuable to the many while selfies are more valuable to the few. A self portrait can tell a story that people can relate to or interpret in any way that can help them see that they're not alone. Selfies, the important ones, are memories that individuals don't want to let go of "the 'ol days." Both can be valuable and important, but self portraits hold more importance and value, not only to the makers, but to the interpreters.

Part Two: Website Review
Digital Photography School
Digital photography school is a website with the intent to help and teach relatively inexperienced photographers. It has a decent layout that is easy to navigate and find what other photographers do to be exceptional. Digital photography shows courses, books, and tips that can help almost any level of photographer that needs it. Any average viewer can discover an almost unlimited amount of ideas, but will mainly discover the beginners page that helps new photographers take amazing photos. Any tip you read on this site is an experienced photographer with their portfolio attached to their name that can help you learn about who is helping you with journalism. I would recommend this website to any photographer who wants to learn more and doesn't know where to find the information they need, and I myself would use it from time to time in the near future and will most definitely save this a a bookmark on my computer. The only thing that actually bothers me is the layout of the website. I think it could be a better, more sleek, design. If it were to have a more sleek design I would give it a 5/5 but the design is not as good as it could be. I would give this website a 4.5 out of 5.
This photo is part of the Technique vs Artistic Creativity page that tells the reader how creativity isn't always "correct." It states how "For creative photographers, ‘correct’ photos are usually perceived as dull, no matter what the subject"

Phobia Project
- A phobia is an irrational fear of something due to the improbability.
- Dermatophobia- Fear of skin lesions. Achluopohobia-Fear of darkness. Acrophobia- Fear of heights. Athazagoraphobia- Fear of being forgotten. Aichmophobia- Fear of sharp objects
- I could take a photo of my friend who has very dry skin which forms a form of lesion. I could also put a friend in a dark are looking down with only their face being in view. I could put someone on top of a roof looking out into the distance or me looking up at them. I could get a photo of one-three friends walking away of one friend leaving them in the dark all alone. I could get one person standing in front of a wall with a shadow of someone with a knife about to stab them.
- I'll use background simplicity, balance, and a low view point.

Welcome Back 2020
I chose this photo because I am actually aware of how there has been a fire in California for awhile and it's interesting to see a photo of what the fire did to some of the wildlife. I also like the coloration of this photo because it is a strangely good looking combination of warm and cool colors.
I chose this photo because when I think of the Amazon Rainforest, I think of a very green landscape, but this contradicts my thoughts and shows me the actuality of what is going on there. I like how the focus of the photo is a burnt tree, still standing around eye level, surrounded by burnt destruction with some of that green landscape in the background.
I chose this photo because it is a very interesting scene, for the Eiffel Tower is in the background and instead of being the focus, the burning building is the focus. I like how the Eiffel Tower is only a supporting character to this scene, instead of being the focus, making everything look better.
1. Beer Never Broke My Heart-Luke Combs
I chose this song because, from what I remember about it, it sounds as if it still has the old country style. I am not a big fan of the new music, but do love the old music, making this style part of my favorites. Also the song is just such a perfect, and probably true to some, thought of how alcohol hasn't betrayed him, making it something to "stand by."
2. Avengers Endgame
This is the best movie because it had decent acting, good fight scenes, and it showed the clash of the marvel universe. It really was interesting to watch the hero favorites unite despite their differences to overcome a powerful villain. It was interesting to watch.
3. Government Shutdown
The government shutdown was the start of the impeachment of our president as well as the start of protests. It showed how much our own government disagreed with the elected leader and what they were willing to do to stop Trumps presidency. The amount of time it lasted made it known as what our government is willing to to do.
4. President Trump
President Trump showed America that you don't need a large political background to be the leader of the US. He is also full of controversies, making several decisions that a wide variety of people disagree with as well as saying things that a majority disagreed with.
5. Ryan Reynolds
I chose Ryan Reynolds because it almost seems like his movies have a personal touch, almost like Robin Williams, in his movies making them even more funny and fun to watch. Even movies as gruesome as Six Underground were made funny due to what seems like his personal touch. Also how can you disagree with Deadpool?
1. I learned how to play Risk and once me and my friends play it again, I hope I will crush them.
2. My resolution is to learn as much as I possibly can, such as psychology, computer science, science, engineering, social studies history.
3. I can't wait to get books to study on those subjects.
